At Al Ghaya, we give the impression that education is not limited to the walls of a classroom. Our Educational School Trips therefore allow the students to discover new terrains; to learn and experience different cultures; and most importantly, to practice what they learn in real life settings. Educationally oriented, our trips are aimed at helping attendees enhance the things they are interested in and develop passion for.

Educators’ Planning

Ultimately at Al Ghaya, we understand that educational trips are made possible by teamwork between our specialized team and educators who have a good understanding of students’ behavior. We encourage the teachers to be directly engaged in the planning process to have the itineraries coincide with the curriculum goals while at the same time being more appealing to students. This way, supporting educators effectively, we can adapt each visited place to improve the goals depending on a chosen learning atmosphere. Due to this reason, our team considers their opinion and is committed to ensuring that vibrant schools partnership yields the best results to enroll lasting positive impacts on students, educators, and the community at large.

Itineraries to Match the Curriculum

We work hand in hand with educators in developing itineraries that will cater for their curriculum goals. Every experience is designed to align with the lessons taught in class, allowing students not only to memorize, but also to apply the content. These kits fit perfectly with lessons that are based on STEM, Social Studies, and Environmental Education, so these programs can be a part of almost any class. For example, if a school is studying a topic related to ancient civilizations, we can come up with the scenario that would entail visiting archaeological sites where students would step into history. In addition to reinforcing the lessons taught in the classroom, the use of case scenarios helps students to apply that knowledge in practice situations.

Hands-On Learning Experiences

The experimental learning is what our Educational School Trips concentrate on. We think that students learn best when they are actively involved in their education. Our trips include hands-on activities such as:

Archaeological Digs

Students can actually participate in actual digs at historical locations and learn how to examine excavation methods and how to listen to artifacts. In this experience, students learn about archaeology as well as develop a feeling of responsibility for cultural heritage.

Cultural Workshops

Workshops we participate in with local artisans or cultural leaders are often part of our trips. Students can learn traditional crafts, music, or cooking and develop a hands on appreciation for a variety of cultures. Building on these interactions leaves us with empathy and understanding that are essential skills for life in this ever interconnected world.

Environmental Conservation Projects

We have programs for students to participate in conservation, such as tree planting, wildlife monitoring and habitat restoration in our local areas. Whether of the environmentalist or the regular kind, working with environmentalists helps students understand the extent to which a students actions impact the planet.

Global Citizenship Cultural Immersion

The Educational School Trips of ours place a great deal of importance in cultural immersion. Exposing students to different ways of life and different perspectives is important to us. Our itineraries include:

Community Service

Service learning is a component of our programs, which also tend to involve students contributing to local communities. Not only can students volunteer at a school, help with a community garden, or participate in a beach cleanup, but they’ll see the results of their efforts and develop the responsibility and global citizenship that comes with it.
